The annual stamp in the bonus booklet secures the bonus
If you have statutory health insurance (GKV) and regularly visit the dentist, you may be able to buy an extra Christmas present or two at the end of the year. This is because a fully maintained bonus booklet is worth real money. And you certainly don’t want to give anything away, do you?
The annual stamp in your bonus booklet ensures that the statutory health insurance company provides a higher subsidy for the treatment costs of dentures. The subsidy amounts to 60 percent of the fixed costs. With regular maintenance of a bonus booklet, the share increases to 70 percent after 5 years and to 75 percent after 10 years.
ATTENTION: A major gap unfortunately means “back to square one”! Anyone who interrupts regular check-ups will unfortunately have to start all over again and lose their bonus entitlement. Therefore, be sure to remember your annual check-up appointment, secure your bonus and arrange a check-up appointment in the coming weeks.

You can get a bonus booklet from the age of 12. Children and adolescents must go for a check-up twice a year until they are 18 if they want the bonus. Adults only need to go once.
